About the PDFCompliant checker

Our checker visits public sector websites to find published PDFs and test them against the PDF/UA accessibility standard. It:

• follows robots.txt, stays on the site it was sent to, and waits between requests
• reads at most a few dozen pages and downloads at most a handful of PDFs per site
• keeps downloaded copies for 30 days, only to produce the report

To stop it visiting your site, disallow PDFCompliant-Checker in robots.txt or email support@getpdfcompliant.com.
