What we collect

• Your email address, to track free pages and send receipts.
• The PDFs you upload and the fixed versions we create.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
• For our outreach: the name and published contact email of public bodies whose websites we check, and copies of the PDFs they publish.

Outreach to public bodies

We check PDFs that public bodies publish on their websites and may email the organisation's published role address (for example clerk@ or info@) with a free report. We rely on legitimate interests for this, never email personal webmail addresses, and stop at once if you ask us or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Downloaded copies are deleted after 30 days.

How we use it

Only to fix your documents and provide the service. Images inside your PDF are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write descriptions, after you pay. We do not use your documents for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

Uploaded and fixed files are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. Payment records are kept for 6 years for UK tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, or deletion of, your data at support@getpdfcompliant.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
